Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine - Address the Root Cause

Chinese Medicine and acupuncture treat the patient, not the disease. Therefore, the focus is on addressing the root cause rather than the symptoms.

By the time you book in with Jacqueline, you may have seen many specialists and have a received diagnoses with no treatment plan.

Even though something may have happened 20 years ago, and is seemingly unrelated, Jacqueline will investigate so she can find a pathway to getting you on the right track to better health.

Jacqueline sees herself as a facilitator of your healing journey, providing treatments that allow the body to find new alignment and space.

Common FAQs

Does acupuncture help with IVF treatments and labour preparation?

Yes. Absolutely. Jacqueline is experienced in supporting IVF with acupuncture as well as labour preparation. It is best to start treatments in week 36 to help with a smooth delivery.

Do I need to take herbs and do they taste funny?

No, you do not need to take herbal medicine and acupuncture on its own can be very powerful. However, herbal tea may be recommended as well and can support progress dramatically especially if weekly acupuncture sessions aren’t always feasible.

The herbs are ordered through a third-party certified supplier. Granules are to be mixed with warm water to make a “tea”. It can be bitter or quite pleasant tasting, entirely dependent on your prescription.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Any medical diagnoses/reports and recent blood results can be helpful. Wear comfortable clothes if practical.
